MANAGER, REGULATORY COMPLIANCE HONORED AS INDUSTRY "RISING STAR" BY HEALTHCARE BUSINESSWOMEN'S ASSOCIATION

Morristown, NJ, May 18, 2010 - Alexis Stroud, Manager, Regulatory Compliance, QPharma, Inc. was honored as an industry Rising Star by the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, at its 21st annual Woman of the Year award luncheon, Thursday, May 6, at the New York City Hilton, with satellite to a breakfast event in San Francisco.

The nomination demonstrates corporate recognition of the outstanding performance, commitment to excellence, and the energy and enthusiasm of the Rising Stars, who contribute on a daily basis to their companies' successes. The Rising Stars are inspiring leaders, role models to others and are individually recognized for their vision, dedication, and action.

Alexis Stroud currently manages the Regulatory Compliance Department for QPharma, Inc, where she is responsible for compliance with federal and state legislation and regulations regarding fulfillment, pharmacy, drug marketing, controlled substances, manufacturing, quality systems, Part 11, and regulatory reporting. She has been the internal lead on dozens of client, FDA, DEA, and NABP inspections and is a Certified Quality Auditor. Ms. Stroud has also served as a compliance consultant for over 10 years, conducting computerized system validation, regulatory training, 21 CFR Part 11 assessments, equipment qualification, quality system development, and GxP auditing for over 30 life science companies.
